If you can’t volunteer your time and/or your talent, maybe you can help us by donating items like Paint, Nails, Plywood, Concrete, Hollow-blocks, Paint Brush, Wiping Towels, Brooms, Gardening Materials, Seedlings, Food, Rice and whatnot. These items will be used by volunteers to help our fellow Cadiznon!

Call To Action: Register Now for BAYANI CHALLENGE 2013!!!

Bayani Challenge 2013

Are You Interested in becoming a “BAYANI” for the BAYANI CHALLENGE 2013? Did you know that over 2000 volunteers will be visiting Cadiz City to face this challenge? Then you are in luck, you see the big button up top on this page? Click that and you’ll be instantly forwarded to the registration page for the event that will be scheduled on MARCH 23-27, 2013 here in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.

Here are a couple of activies we will be doing:

  1. BUILDING OF HOMES – Build an actual home for a family and experience everything from laying the foundation, attaching the roof, painting the walls, and landscaping.
  2. PARAISONG PAMBATA – Create an environment of fun and learning for children aged 6 to 10 years old through feeding program, story-telling sessions, games, and a Sports Clinic.
  3. SCHOOL BUILD – Make public schools conducive to learning by refurbishing rooms, painting walls, landscaping gardens, and repainting tables and chairs.
  4. ENVIRONMENT – Be a hero for the environment by planting trees and organizing clean-up drives.
  5. COMMUNITY HEALTH – Share the importance of health by conducting a nutrition program, medical check-ups and health consultations among the different barangays.

Just to be clear, you are allowed to contribute your time and effort even for just a single day, but you still need to register. We strongly encourage you to REGISTER NOW and you will be getting an information package from the BAYANI CHALLENGE Secretariat.

A First in the history of Negros Occidental. There will be an estimated 2000 participants or more from all over the country that will be joining in the up-coming Bayanihan Challenge in Cadiz City.

We we’re informed by Mr. Jordan Sun of Gawad Kalinga Cadiz Chapter regarding the event that will be held in Cadiz on March 22, 2013. Gawad Kalinga will need all the help they can get, from Volunteer Students and Professionals and from all walks of life.

CBA Friendship and Acquaintance League

This is a Public Service Announcement. For The Cadiz City Basketball Association (CBA).

CBA is holding it’s first ever Tournament for it’s member opening with a motorcade on February 15, 2013 which is on Friday. After the Motorcade, Induction of Officers will be held at the Cadiz City Public Plaza which will be the Official Venue of the Tournament Games. Details for joining is indicated on the Image Below.

Two games will be scheduled that day and will start at around 5 to 6PM depending on weather conditions. Games will be scheduled every Friday, Saturday and Sundays on the Cadiz City Public Plaza. CBA will announce Tournament Sponsors on this Site (www.cadiz-city.com) Soon!
