Cadiz City Coal Fired Power Plant CFPP

Back Story: Long before everybody heard about it, Cadiz has always had a Power Shortage Problem. With or without natural Calamities, Cadiz Always have blackouts that sometimes last a whole day or in some occasions almost a week. This is really bad for business and for attracting investors. Although most talented Cadiznons have the knack for giving in proposals to help uplift the city, almost always there will be some issues along the pipeline.

Public Information Summary: The most recent issue is the City’s Move for a solution to the Power Shortage and that is to have a Coal Fired Power Plant installed.

It has been indicated (not by this site) that this is the most affordable solution and Cadiz Government has pointed that they have an investor for it.

The alternative renewable sources of energy like Wind Turbines (windmill) and Solar as mentioned is far from their reach as it is said to be more expensive and has no known investor to be able to push through. Realistically, there is no other alternative yet on the books aside from CFPP, unless of course you are an Angel Investor and read this post here and is willing to invest on an alternative solution.

As an unbiased post here in this site, we should also indicate that CFPP is not a clean source of energy, and most of it’s wastes are usually in standard plant practices dropped to the water for containment. The issue that will arise then is how to manage waste if ever CFPP pushes through.

*edit we received information that our post does not highlight enough of the Cons of having CFPP as a means to solving the Power Issue.
