About Cadiz News

Let me welcome you to the Oldest and Pioneering News and Tourism Website Portal in Negros Occidental especially in Cadiz City. Cadiz-City.com has already been serving the Community and City of Cadiz and Greater Negros for the last 10 years.

In the ten years that we were operating this site, we are mainly supported only by a few sponsors and businesses located in Cadiz. The only National firm that has helped this site is through the help of the web services firm www.imbitasyon.com.

The Shortcut name of www.Cadiz-City.Com is CCcom. CCcom (this site) as a privately owned and commercial effort, although we are sometimes being claimed as an “Official” Government or Tourism support arm.

In a short stint in 2011, CCcom has been tasked to help with the marketing and image campaign of the City Government  of Cadiz. Our Obligation and one of our Founders Obligation was to establish the promotion of Cadiz City, especially in the Tourism and Business sectors. Even during that time, CCcom remained to operate solely at our own expense.

Later in 2013, Yolanda Struck Cadiz, and this site was the only Online and “Live” News Outfit that sent out calls for help, News and Updates and Weather Reports from Cadiz and in Cadiz. This is where the Cadiz Own Non-Government Organization was formed, Bangon Cadiznon.

CCcom has been trying to post comprehensive and concise details about the City of Cadiz. And to provide the most important information about Cadiz to the Community. We would like to consider ourselves as being “Powered By The People”.

Thus, for the last 10-Years, you have never seen CCcom ever putting on this site any form of Advertising and other programs to either promote ourselves or our personal interests.

In this light, 2013 and on-wards, we will be accepting support from any sector in exchange for promotional advertising. Any form of Post Advertising will be indicated in their corresponding sponsored posts.

Public service announcements will be labeled as such and Official posts from CCcom will not have any of these labels. So bear in mind two labels which are: This is a Public Service Announcement, for posts that are requested as a public service post and finally Sponsored Post, which will be written after posts that are sponsored.

We highly encourage interaction within this site, there are Four (4) ways you can do that. First on the right-hand side we have several options and first stop is our Community Facebook page you can “like” so that more recent updates and promos will be posted on your FB wall. Second, there is a CHAT ROOM wherein you have the option to privately chat with other community members or chat away on the general lounge area (this feature is new and introduced only this 2013).

Third and most importantly is the Comments Area, you can leave comments to our postings so that we can get your opinions on each post and therefore get a pulse of what is up and what is the current concern of the community regarding each topic we post.

Thank You for Your Continued Support for www.cadiz-city.com!!!

Old About Content:

This is a site dedicated to all Cadiznon’s. We were formerly located at a different domain, with a slightly similar site look. We have been present in the web for 3-plus years running the portal and on our third year we have been attacked by unscrupulous people who seem bent to stop our community service with the people of Cadiz. In this light, we have come back stronger and eager to serve you in two new addresses. If you want to support us, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime. You can always advertise your business on our site in exchange for your support.

Thanks for continuing to support CCnet and the new CCcom!!!

  1. I bet you guys are successful promoting Dinagsa 2016, your results are more up to date and your site is more polished that it convinced me as first time visitor to your City that your event and fiesta is well-produced and not cheap…

Sad to say I cannot say the same thing for your government site, I trust your content even though some are old to be reliable.

  2. Hey! This is my first visit to your blog! We are a team of volunteers and starting a new project in a community in the same niche.

  7. Hi Ivy, You left a similar comment in multiple locations on the site, anyway to answer your question. PACO falls is located at Sitio Alimatoc, at Barangay C.S. Villacin.

It is easy to go there, but be aware that is around 30kms or more from the Cadiz City proper.

  8. Hi Macrine and Charity, we apologize for the very delayed response, for immediate answers to your inquiries, please use our contact form so we are directly notified with any new inquiries.
